Dr. Colleary completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and master’s degree in counseling and consulting psychology at Harvard University. She received her doctoral degree in educational psychology at Arizona State University and completed her APA clinical internship at Devereux Foundation in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Colleary has practiced in the public schools, as a practitioner in clinical settings and both as a full-time and adjunct professor teaching courses that include lifespan development, psychological assessment and family therapy.
In her work with children, adolescents, adults and families, she specializes in individual and group psychotherapy, consultation, psycho-education, collaborative problem-solving and diagnostic evaluation. Her training and experience is grounded in research about growth and optimal development across the lifespan and the positive psychology research/practice literature about emotional resilience and well-being.
